Serving boys and girls ages 4–14 across Southern Maryland.

Established in 1974, the Southern Maryland Junior Wrestling League (SMJWL) is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization dedicated to youth wrestling in Southern Maryland and the District of Columbia.  
SMJWL provides:

  • ​7 member clubs across the District of Columbia, Calvert, Charles, Prince George’s, and St. Mary’s counties
  • Wrestling opportunities for boys and girls ages 4–14
  • League-sponsored competitions and structured seasonal events
  • A focus on amateur wrestling fundamentals, sportsmanship, and athlete development
