Club Eligibility Individuals requesting Club Membership must be at least 18 years of age. Submit a written request of your interest to enter a club into the league, to the SMJWL Commissioner, within 60 days of the first scheduled SMJWL Tournament of the applicable season. Applying club will be informed within 30 days of acceptance or denial of the request. Upon acceptance pending clubs must complete the following: I. Obtain club charter/insurance through USA Wrestling. II. Club's head wrestling coach and one additional coach must obtain a USA Wrestling Coach's card. III. Club's head wrestling coach must obtain at least the USA Wrestling Copper Certification. IV. Club's head wrestling coach must complete a youth in sports concussion training. V. Payment of all applicable league fees.
Wrestler Eligibility I. A potential wrestling member must be between the ages of 4 and 14 years of age, prior to midnight on December 31st of the current wrestling year, and in the eighth grade or below. II. Contact a coach/club in your area, complete all club/league requirements and pay all applicable fees.
